About JobForte

JobForte is an AI-assisted job application tracker operated by Spirit Lake Technology Group LLC. It helps you analyze how well a job description matches your resume and draft cover letters using that analysis.

By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Your data

Your resume is entered in-browser and is never stored on our servers. It is sent to Anthropic's Claude API only when you run a fit analysis or generate a cover letter, and for no other purpose.

Your job applications, analyses, and cover letters are stored on JobForte's servers to enable cross-device access. This data is retained for 90 days from your last login. We will email you a reminder at 75 days and a final notice at 85 days. If you do not log in for 90 days, your job data is automatically and permanently deleted.

Any credits you have purchased are held for 12 months from your last login. If you return within that window and sign in with the same email address, your credits will be intact. After 12 months of inactivity, your account and any remaining credits are permanently deleted.

Credits and payments

JobForte uses a credit-based model. Each AI fit analysis costs one credit. Cover letter generation is included with the analysis at no additional credit cost. Credits do not expire in the ordinary course of use. They remain on your account until you use them or close your account. The only exception is extended inactivity: credits are removed when an account is deleted after 12 months of inactivity, as described above.

New accounts receive one free credit. Additional credits are purchased via Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. JobForte does not store your payment card details. These are handled entirely by Stripe.

You may earn credits by referring new users to JobForte. When someone signs up using your referral link and completes their first AI fit analysis, you receive one credit. Referral credits are capped at 50 per account. JobForte reserves the right to withhold or reverse referral credits where abuse or fraud is suspected.

All purchases are final. Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, use the account settings page or email contact@spiritlaketech.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with GDPR Article 17 and the CCPA.

AI-generated content

JobForte uses Claude, Anthropic's AI model, to generate analysis and cover letter drafts. This content is a starting point, not a finished product. You should review and edit everything before sending it to an employer. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular application.

Do not submit AI-generated content as your own without reviewing it. You are responsible for anything you send to a prospective employer.

Acceptable use

You may use JobForte to assist with your own genuine job search. You may not:

• Use the service to submit applications in bulk or in an automated fashion
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API endpoints
• Share your access credentials with others
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

No warranties

JobForte is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime or continued access. The service may change, pause, or end without advance notice. In the event of service closure, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data where practicable. We are not liable for any loss of data or opportunity resulting from the use or unavailability of the service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spirit Lake Technology Group LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of JobForte, including but not limited to loss of data, missed job opportunities, or reliance on AI-generated output.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use of JobForte after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
